This movement of poetry reached it's most popular point in the 1960s. It was originally considered a combination of literature and visual art and is sometimes referred to as poesia visiva As with much visual art, concrete poetry and poesia visiva now use photography, film, and even soundscapes in combination with letters and words to achieve new and startling effects.
Analysis
This is a religious poem that refers to Jesus. The lines, "Inside the cave a baby's born. who shall die on the cross" and Jesus is an important figure in the bible who died on the cross. The whole poem is written as a star, and in the bible three kings and three shepards followed the star of David to find the son of God.

The line, "who shall die on the cross" represents foreshadowing because it tells what will happen in the future. The line, "three kings and three shepards have come by your light." refers to the birth of Jesus Christ, a famous figure, which represents allusion.
